About Lanzarote
Lanzarote, part of the Canary Islands. Governed by Spain, located just 70 miles from the West African coastline. About a 3.5 to 4 hour journey from London by air. Lanzarote is unlike any of the other Canary Islands, much of the landscape is dark, and quite baron. With 'oasis' like villages dotted between the volcanic hillsides. Described as a mystical island, by many who travel this way.

Puerto del Carmen (old town & harbour)
Obviously, based around the "Port of Carmen". The harbour has many restaurants. whether your favourite is fish, spanish, chinese, french, german, japanese, italian, irish steaks, theres something for everyone in the Old Town. Don't wait until your last night to try it out.
Trips and excursions from the harbour include submarines, fishing trips, trips to lagoons, trips to Fuerteventura, glass bottom boats, diving opportunities, boat hire and much much more. 

Puerto del Carmen (new town)
Puerto del Carmen has everything that you would expect from a modern holiday resort. 10-15 minutes from the airport. And has long been the premier resort on this beautiful island. Restaurants and bars along the strip are countless, Water sports along the huge beach are plentiful, trips from here around this unique island are abundant.

Matagorda
Essentially an extension of Puerto del Carmen, (at the airport end). Has its share of restaurants, bars, beach facilities and sun.! Very popular with families young and old alike. It does have the advantage of being a flatter terrain than the more traditional part of Puerto del Carmen. Travel into Puerto del Carmen is very easy along the beach road, by bus or taxi (neither of which will cost more than a few Euros).

Costa Teguise
Situated on the East part of the island. Home to the only Golf Course on Lanzarote. about 15 minutes drive from the Airport. Has all of the facilities of a modern tourist resort. Very popular destination for holidaymakers. Also home to the island's only 18 Hole Golf Course.

Playa Blanca
Situated on the South West part of the island.

Puerto Caleiro
Situated on the South part of island, just 2 miles from Puerto del Carmen. A New town developed over the last 10 years. The marina is already one of the most exclusive ports in Europe. Albeit the surrounding town is still undergoing extensive development.
